As part of our month long celebration of mud, Plodge half term is all about getting muddy. Prepare yourselves for welly-wanging, a muddy barefoot walk, mud kitchen, splashing around in the puddles and more mud mania. Plodge is a month long celebration of mud. The word Plodge is a Geordie word meaning to wade. Mud isnt hard to come by at Gibside during the winter and there are plenty of places where you can wade through it to your hearts content.
