Godolphin - Reeve Ceremony
Join us for the Reeve ceremony at Godolphin House - an annual event where Mark Harandon will be sharing the story of this tradition involving a snail race and a wager on the estate! Discover why the Godolphin family almost lost their estate to the St Aubyns during a snail race! A re-enactment of the Reeve Ceremony which traditionally took place at sunrise every Candlemass. Why not enjoy a hot drink and piece of cake from the Piggery tearoom after the re-enactment' Booking Not Needed.
