Christmas lights with a difference at Edinburgh Zoo's Giant Lanterns
RZSS Edinburgh Zoo has transformed into a magical, winter wonderland filled with fairy tales and mythical creatures at Scotland’s only Chinese lantern festival, The Giant Lanterns of China.
Each night, visitors can explore an enchanting nocturnal trail of Scottish myths and ancient Chinese legends around the Zoo. The dazzling lantern sculptures include magical unicorns, towering giants, the mysterious Loch Ness Monster and a colossal phoenix.
