Mimesis: African Soldier: African soldier photograph installation at I
The Imperial War Museum located near Zone 1’s Elephant & Castle is showcasing their Mimesis: African Soldier photograph installation, where emotionally moving imagery is displayed in remembrance of the millions of African and colonial soldiers, labourers and carriers who served in the First World War. As a sensory experience, visitors can view the imagery across multiple screens with a powerful musical accompaniment. This exhibition is FREE, and available for visitors until 31st March.
