Notan Paper cutting workshop
Notan is a Japanese design concept involving the play and placement of light and dark
elements as they are placed next to the other in the composition of art and imagery.
In this workshop with paper cutting artist Leonie Stephenson (Loula Belle at Home), you will
learn how to cut simple (or more complex shapes depending on experience) shapes using a
scalpel or scissors, to create a piece of paper cut artwork that plays with positive and negative
space.
