Harness Horse Blessing
We are thrilled to announce the return of the Harness Horse Blessing at Picton Castle. Carriages Meet from 11.30am, Service at 1.00pm. This deeply historical event originated from the late 1800’s to bless and monitor the good welfare of the working carriage horses for a safe driving season ahead. The horses and carriages will gather for a short service in the front of the Castle followed by a drive through the Park and lanes surrounding the estate.
