This is the tender, heart-warming story of Amahl, a poor crippled shepherd boy and his devoted mother who are visited one night by three kings, following a star on their way to see baby Jesus. It’s a knock at the door that will change their lives forever. Amahl & The Night Visitors was originally written for television in 1951 and has since become an annual tradition in the USA becoming one of the most frequently performed opera’s of the 20th century.
