Standen House and Garden - Morris & Co - Inspired by Nature
Discover the world of Morris & Co. at Standen in this new exhibition throughout the house, garden and estate. This summer, Standen is telling the story of the origins of Morris &Co. the famous manufacturer founded by the artist and designer William Morris in 1861. The exhibition explores how the artists used nature in their designs as a means to react against the social ills brought about by the Industrial Revolution. Booking Not Needed.
