The Workhouse, Southwell - Hands On or Hands Off? If Walls Could Talk.
This Workhouse exhibition is linked with the National Trust programme and is an exciting opportunity to see conservation in action focusing on how and why we conserve our wallpaper. There are numerous wallpaper samples both in the main Workhouse building and in the newly conserved Firbeck Infirmary. We have worked with local artist, Sarah Holden, and Brownies and Guides to produce wallpaper samples which will be hung together as part of an exhibition. The children's work will help to show
