Special Tour with afternoon tea
This Special Tour of Allerton Castle starts at 1pm with a sherry reception followed by a short history of the Allerton estate from 1066 and a tour of the first-floor rooms. After a break for afternoon tea in the ballroom we ascend the Great Hall staircase for an exclusive visit to the second-floor bedchambers and suites including the State Bedchamber and Dressing Room, as well as the Prince Frederick wing set within the original Georgian House that survived when the Gothic house was built in 1848 – 1854.
