British Red Cross Bedfordshire Open Garden

The house was established as a farmhouse next to the village church in the 17th Century. The north garden and drive are in a woodland area with spring bulbs. The west garden is more formal with a circular bed on the site of an old well. The main lawn is south facing and leads down to a large pond. This provides sanctuary for ducks, moorhens, frogs, toads and a variety of insects and dragonflies. Managing the garden for human interest and wildlife is a balance. Wildlife needs the cover and debris that is untidy to the human eye! By kind permission of: Dr T G & Mrs D M Inskip
1.30pm - 5pm; Tickets £4 per adult, Children under 12 Free. The Manor House has limited wheelchair access. Refreshments will be served on the terrace overlooking the central lawn down to the pond.
