Shamanic Drumming Workshop
Saturday 15 June 2019, 10am – 4pm
Cori Marugg, whose spiritual name is Anawatu, will be leading the workshop. Cori is from the Caribbean Taino tribe and comes from a lineage of Curanderas and Cantadoras. She trained in the Andean Pampamesayoc, so is well qualified to deliver thids unique workshop which is designed to allow you to learn about the basic practices of Shamanism and includes
• Introduction to Shamanism, • Creating and opening Sacred Space
• The basics of using a Shamanic drum • How to journey to the beat of a drum
•Understanding the Shamanic realms • Learning & working with Spirit Animals.
• And much more…….
Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided but please bring a packed lunch. You will also need to wear comfy clothes, bring a yoga mat or something to lie on, a blanket, a cushion to sit on scarf/eye cover, a pen and notebook and a bottle of water.
Please bring a drum, some are available if booked in advance.
Your investment for this day workshop is £30; a non-refundable deposit of £10 is required to secure your place. Places are limited. You can either pay the full amount or choose to pay by installment. If you choose the installment option, a further £10 is due by 19 April, with the final installment due by 17 May.
