Hoveton Great Broad Nature Trail 50th Celebration Event
A Fantastic Day out for all the family!
A celebration of one of the UK's oldest Nature Trails, originally opened in 1969, Hoveton Nature Trail offers a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the unspoiled and fascinating wildness of the Broads and a special place for wildlife and nature.
The HGB Nature Trail is free to the public, and helpful and knowledgable Wardens are on hand should you want to know more about the wildlife, the restoration project or the history of the trail.
Steel band, amazing Storytelling from the Yarnsmith of Norwich, activities and an opportunity to take the ferry over to the Nature Trail for FREE!
Picnickers welcome, Canoes and Kayaks to rent, green spaces to relax and enjoy!

Event starts at 10 am and runs through to 3pm, however the site is open for access both before and after the event.
Salhouse Broad is one of the most accessible Broads in Norfolk, with a free car park and toilets A path from the car park takes visitors to the broad, where a ferry to the Hoveton Great Broad Nature Trail operates from!
