Norwich Historic Pubs Tour
Get a taste for the history of Norwich pubs on this guided walking tour with Paul Dickson. The tour starts and finishes in the 16th century Maids Head Bar on Wensum Street and lasts for 1½ hours.
See where Ralph McTell had his first professional gig and Paul Simon sang solo; explore where Monsieur du Pain entertained drinkers by dipping his feet in boiling lead; visit Alan Partridge’s favourite Norfolk bar and discover where 18th century diarist Parson Woodforde used to drink. Hear stories of
6pm to 7.30pm. Ticket £7.50. The price includes half a pint of Maids Head Ale, brewed by Woodfordes, or a soft drink, at the end of the tour.
