Nolan's Time At The Rodd
Open from 19 April - 23 June. An exhibition of paintings from Sir Sidney Nolan's extensive body of innovative art work produced whilst living at The Rodd (1983 - 92).
The paintings are united by their modernity, vibrancy and energy. While the majority are produced traditionally using paint and brushes, the ‘Celtic Image’ series and the abstracts are examples of his spray painting, a technique which dominated Nolan’s output during his time at The Rodd.
Wed - Fri 11:00 - 16:30 and Sat, Sun & Bank Holidays 12:00 - 16:30.
£5, Conc £2.50, Children under 16 & accompanying carers free. Entrance fee covers all exhibitions on site.
