Wonders of the World will come to the streets of Newburgh when the village stages its 42nd Annual Fair on Saturday 22 June. Children’s visions of the Pyramids, the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall of China and ancient monuments of Greece and Rome will feature on the floats which go in procession around the village beginning at 12pm.
The Fair procession will be led by the talented Red Admiral Music Academy and will visit all parts of the village before arriving at the Newburgh School Field for the crowning of the Rose Queen.
A fun afternoon follows with many stalls, fair ground attractions, craft show, karate and gymnastics demonstrations, Morris and Indian dancing, circus skills workshops, village dog show and tug of war.
