From the Elan Valley Visitor Centre we head for the Caban Coch Reservoir and follow its eastern shore passing the 'Dambuster' dam. An ascent takes us to Ty,n y Pant and to fine views of the lake. Descending into woodland, we follow the track past Llanerch Cawr to the Do y Mynach dam. Another woodland trail will guide us to the Garreg Ddu dam, past the Caban Quarry, and return to the Visitor Centre. A 7 mile Grade A (Easy) Walk, ascent 520ft/160m, taking about 4 hours.
