Gwenddwr 65th Carnival, Show and Sports
On the last Saturday in July every year, all roads lead to Gwenddwr – a village normally hiding in the hills on the south-west side of the Wye valley, about 9 miles south of Builth. A day full of fun and entertainment for all the family. Competitions galore: crafts, flowers, fancy dress, cookery, sheep, pets and much more. There's also the ever-popular dog show and pony show. Games for all ages. Free bouncy castle (weather permitting). Beer tent. Ice Cream. Food available.
