Leawood Pumphouse open

Come and see a 170 year old steam powered beam engine, built to pump water from the river derwent into the Cromford canal.

The engine will NOT be in steam on Saturday (Visit on Sunday 2nd June to see it in action), but you can view the two locomotive type boilers and tour the engine house. There will be volunteers available to ask any questions you may have.

For more details see the following link www.middleton-leawood.org, or watch a video at youtu.be/iHaD4_DGOIc
