Hill End ffennell festival
Named for the amazing ffennell family who founded Hill End as an outdoor school for inner city/slum children in the 1920s, this festival is a family activity day with :
a Hill End history exhibition, Wytham Woods picture house, Oxford Sail Training boat display, WW1 practice trenches guided walk, birds of prey and owls, climbing wall, bounce 2 fitness, the Story Museum's little shop of stories, family team building games, quiz trail, face painting, 'we love Hill End because....&rsq
