St Giles' Church Sidburyvery
Sidbury St Giles’ Tour of Church and rare Saxon Crypt
The beautiful Church of St Giles stands in the centre of a lovely village close to Sidmouth where a church building has stood since Saxon times. With it's Norman Tower and many ancient features, under the chancel there exists to this day a 7th century Saxon Crypt one of only 6 in the country, which is open every Thursday during the summer and included in a guided tour of the church.
