Come and Sing Elgar's The Kingdom hosted by the Elgar Chorale
Seen by many as on a par with The Dream of Gerontius and one of Elgar’s greatest works, The Kingdom was conceived as the second of three oratorios, the first being The Apostles and the last was to have been The Last Judgement but was never written. The piece is full of wonderful, stirring choruses such as O Ye Priests as well as the hushed fervour of The Lord’s Prayer.
