The Barnsley singer and film maker Dave Cherry will be premiering his new film The Worsbrough Dale Mine Disasters on Thursday September 5th at the Dale Tavern West Street, Barnsley S70 5PG
Some 300 men and boys died in a 25 year period in the 19th century and the film, using archive film, traces the causes of the explosions and the effect on the local community.
