Tea with Ruskin

Come and enjoy an afternoon of entertainment with tea & cakes, hosted by the Friends of Carnegie Library, to celebrate the bi-centenary of the birth of local boy John Ruskin; highly-acclaimed critic of art, architecture and society, gifted painter and distinctive prose stylist; influential in cultural & social change.
With local actor Bernard Lawrence reading extracts from Ruskin`s works, and singer Pam Williams performing contemporary songs from the famous Vauxhall Gardens (by kind permission
Saturday 14th September at 3pm
Admission free (donations to the Friends would be greatly appreciated).
As space is limited , please come early to avoid disappointment.
