Gawthorpe Hall - Experimental Goldwork Embroidery Workshop with Elnaz Yazdani
Elnaz will guide you through a variety of goldwork stitches and show you how to use alternative materials to create your own experimental goldwork artwork, in a range of colours, not just gold! The workshop includes a look at Elnaz' work on display in the Strands of Place and Time exhibition, made in response to an 18th century Persian goldwork embroidery panel in the textile collection.
