Beaminster Museum
Heritage Open Day: This building was rescued from collapse 25 years ago and converted into a local history museum. A mezzanine second floor was added which has creating an attractive exhibition space. Both museum and building are worthy of a visit. A Grade II listed 19th century Congregational Chapel with a collapsing roof was stabilised with a concrete mezzanine and converted into a local Museum and community Meeting Room. The result is very suitable for exhibitions and the open area left by
