Heritage Open Day: Belgrave Cemetery Heritage Open Day Sunday 15th & Sunday 22nd September. Guided Walk at 11am. Cemetery records and refreshments available. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Sensible footwear advisable. Ample parking. Belgrave Cemetery situated on Red Hill Way ( A563) opened in 1881 is 5.5 acres of natural beauty with 14.500 burials. Whilst it is no longer possible to purchase a grave funerals still take place in family plots.
