Heritage Open Day: Guided tours of the EWN Pugin-designed Abbey including access to the sacristies & other behind-the-scenes parts of the Abbey church. The Abbey, founded in 1859, is home to a community of Benedictine monks, who attend the Abbey church five times a day Visitors are welcome throughout the day but those who visit at 12.45 will be able to join the monks in Midday Prayer. Tours, led by monks or lay volunteers, will start regularly throughout the day but without specific start times,
