Heritage Open Day: A Grade 2 Listed Baptist Church built in the 1850s as a ‘neat, commodious chapel in a good situation’ with seating for 1100 people and a hall built in 1904 for social events. Although refurbished several times the buildings retain many of their original features. A photographic display will enable visitors to appreciate the alterations made over the years to accommodate the changing needs a of large vibrant congregation.
