Devon & Exeter Institution - Tours + Heritage Haiku

Heritage Open Day: Guided tours of the Devon and Exeter Institution and a chance to meet Poet Sara-Jane Arbury to write your own Heritage Haiku The Devon & Exeter Institution is open to the public for tours of our Georgian library, where visitors will experience highlights of the collection in two magical galleried reading rooms with cupolas. Harry Potter's Hermione Granger would feel right at home in this atmospheric library. There is also an opportunity to visit the Courtenay Room with its 17th Century plaster ceiling. HERITAGE HAIKU: Throughout Heritage Open Days sites have been offering visitors the chance to write a Heritage Haiku. Encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to express and share their feelings about Exeter’s heritage in the form of a Haiku poem.
