Heritage Open Day: Open Day to view this Victorian Church with its interesting architecture and social history. Emmanuel Church was constructed in 1873/4 and built in the early English style with 85ft, square, embattled tower. At this Open Day you are able to view the interior of the Church, and there is a rolling slide-show giving the history of the Church and the community it has served for almost 150 years. It is also planned to play some of the oral history recordings recently made with the
