Nexus Methodist Church at Walcot
Heritage Open Day: As the oldest Methodist Church in Bath, the original ‘Walcot Chapel’, is a part of Bath’s historic heritage but also a place of worship for a congregation of 21st century people on Sundays and for other activities during the week. The foundation stone was laid in 1815 and opened for worship in May 1816. The organ was installed in 1818 and has been in use ever since it was originally built in 1771 for the Bath Assembly Rooms.
