Heritage Open Day: There will be guided tours in the main workshop and adjacent slip way/work shop. Visitors can see the traditional wooden vessels currently undergoing restoration and other completed projects. This is a great opportunity to see maritime heritage items on display. There will also be displays of maritime and boat building artefacts. The Trust are currently working on the restoration of their 133 year old South Shields Lifeboat, Bedford.
