Rawdon Quaker Meeting House
Heritage Open Day: 17th century Quaker meeting house and graveyard. Mainly our old Meeting House built in 1697 and also out 'schoolroom' - an old converted stables with interesting architectural features. The buildings are set in a graveyard - see how the gravestones reflect a belief in equality - which has been adapted into a pleasant garden. Partake of light refreshments and ask questions about Quaker beliefs and practices (or just chat!)
