Southgate Arch

Heritage Open Day: Southgate Arch is the only remaining Medieval gateway of the three original gated entries into the old walled town of Launceston and also formed part of the old town wall. It was used as a prison between 1381 and 1884. Southgate Arch is a Medieval arch in the town of Launceston in Cornwall.
