St John the Evangelist Church, Cleckheaton
Heritage Open Day: St John’s Church, Cleckheaton has been a place of worship since 1832 and is celebrating our 186th Anniversary. We are a town centre parish, endeavouring to meet the needs of the town’s people. Our building is built in the Gothic style and as beautiful Victorian stained glass windows on all sides.
Restoration work was carried out in 2006/2007 which included the East window repaired, the outer walls and Tower restored with stonework replaced in places.
