St Leonard's Church, Bengeo
Heritage Open Day: A rare example of an intact Norman Church set in an ancient church yard and approached through parkland. 'The rare example of a virtually intact Norman village church; (Prof Sir Nikolaus Pevsner). The church will be open to visitors, with stewards to show them around and/or answer questions. The interior of the church is decorated with medieval wall paintings, and there are samples of medieval floor tiles.
