Heritage Open Day: An unspoilt grade 1 medieval church building thought to be the resting place of St. Frideswide This simple ancient church is believed to be one of the sites associated with St Frideswide, who later founded her order on the site of Christ Church in St Aldates. Charles Dodson (Lewis Carroll) used the well in the churchyard as the model for his Treacle Well.
