Heritage Open Day: The building is a fine example an early 18th century church with original box pews, galleries and staircases. The tower affords a panoramic view over the surrounding country. The present building was constructed between 1719 and 1726 on the site of a Benedictine Abbey Church that had fallen into disrepair.
