Heritage Open Day: See the thatched village hall at the heat of this charming Dorset village. There are only 2 thatched village halls in Dorset and one of them can be found in Briantspuddle. Internally, although it has many modern facilities, a glance at the roof and the structure of the Main Hall will reveal its former use as a barn where the grain from surrounding farms was stored.
In the 17th century the tithe barn belonging to Bryantspuddle Farm occupied the site before it was rebuilt in 180
