Bridport Quaker Meeting House
Heritage Open Day: Experience the heritage of the Meeting House then enjoy peaceful reflection in the Peace Garden In the 1660s Quakers in Bridport were meeting in a barn on Daniel Taylor’s land in South Street, and in 1697 he gave the building to the Meeting for their use. Although altered and modernised throughout its history it retains its quiet and simple character. It is still providing for all Quaker needs and is used by a number of community groups in Bridport.
