Brindley's Mill, Leek

Heritage Open Day: Brindley's Mill is a working water-powered corn mill built in 1752. It was built by the great canal engineer James Brindley, who was living in Leek at the time. It fell into disuse, but was restored by volunteers, ad opened to the public in 1974. Corn grinding will be taking place, and guided tours for those who want one. The mill also contains a small museum about James Brindley. There is a pleasant riverside garden. On 22nd September there will also be live folk music
