Heritage Open Day: Following the success of last year’s Extraordinary Women Exhibition, we take another look at more of Hampshire’s notable figures as well as featuring some additional women whose extraordinary lives or achievements equally deserve to be recognised. Last year, Heritage Open Days chose ‘Extraordinary Women’ as its festival theme to mark the centenary of the Representation of the People Act and 90 years since the Equal Franchise Women's Suffrage Act.
