Lowfield Heath Windmill
Heritage Open Day: Visit a complete eighteenth century windmill and enjoy a guided tour and small exhibition about the restoration. Visitors are free to enjoy the grounds and even bring a picnic. Note though that there are no toilets on site. Lowfield Heath Windmill is a Grade II listed building. Originally built c 1737 at Lowfield Heath, it worked until the 1880s. This post mill fell into disrepair over the next 100 years until it was dismantled in 1987; it was moved to its present site at Russ
