Lydgate Unitarian Chapel

Heritage Open Day: Old chapel with original 17th & 18th Century features. Interesting graveyard. Family history archives available for study. Photography in the chapel and grounds is free and encouraged. Chapel built 1694 as the Presbyterian Church at Fulstone in the county of York by survivors of the civil war (one of the first trustees, Humphrey Bray, fought for Cromwell).
