St Peter's Church
Heritage Open Day: Visit this medieval church, including a tower from 1758 with an impressive Victorian clock. Interior with 17th century pulpit and interesting memorials. A multi-period church with surviving medieval features. There is a wall niche at the south aisle of the church, a remnant of the medieval church wall. The original central tower was replaced with a west tower in 1758. The clock was added to the tower in 1866. An earthquake in 1692 caused damage to the church and the windows at
