St. Katherine's Priory
Heritage Open Day: St. Katherine's Priory, was a Benedictine nunnery, founded around about 1159 Explore this 12th century former nunnery that became a merchant house in the mid 16th century. Members from the Stoke Hill Community Association on hand to give a potted history of the building & grounds throughout the day
Visitors will be able to look around the building and, weather permitting, enjoy a quiet cuppa & a bite to eat whilst also enjoying the colourful display in the community gar
