Heritage Open Day: A space to think, work, learn and grow. The Literary & Scientific Institute is a Grade II * Listed Building in the heart of Bridport. Originally built by Sir Henry Warburton in 1834 it has recently been the subject of a £2.9 Million refurbishment project, helped by grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Heritage England. This historic building is now a modern vibrant location for business, education, training and the community. A space to think, work, learn and grow.
