Heritage Open Day: Late 17th century house built for merchant William Hudson with excellent original features. Built in 1673 this Grade II* Listed property still retains many original features, despite being re-fronted in the mid 19thC. On view will be the entrance hall, dining room, staircase and the first floor drawing room. Wooden panelling, carved garlands of fruit and flowers on doorcases and chimneypieces - don't miss this opportunity to see this important interior.
