The Veitch Floral Art Lamp Post Trail
Heritage Open Day: As a celebration of our industrial and horticultural heritage in St David's (Exeter) we 'rescued' 17 cast-iron lamp posts from demolition. Hand-painted plants on each lamp post to celebrate the famous Veitch family of plant-hunters and nurserymen. Free guided tours of this new and unique attraction includes a series of Exeter's old cast-iron lamp posts, each hand-painted with a different plant brought back to the the UK by the City's famous Veitch
